Events
The Lay Missionaries of Charity gather regularly at the local, regional, national, and international levels to deepen their formation and strengthen bonds of communion. Local groups meet regularly for prayer, formation, and acts of charity—living their commitment to serve the poorest of the poor in their own communities.
Every year, LMCs are invited to participate in a Regional Retreat, and a National Retreat every two years, offering extended time for spiritual renewal, community building, and deepening in the charism. These retreats often include talks, silence, Eucharistic Adoration, and the opportunity to renew one’s vows.
In addition, International General Assemblies are held periodically and bring together Lay Missionaries from around the world. These gatherings, often held in places of significance to the Missionaries of Charity family, are a powerful expression of the unity and diversity of this vocation.
